My old high school hommie turned college roomie turned one of wittiest people I know has written two young adult novels and got herself an agent (with a british accent no less!) and is basically on the verge of becoming the next big thing in the tween writing world. Anyhow, I'm always impressed with her and of her accomplishments, so when she asked me to design the banner for her writing blog I was flattered and thrilled. I love working with good friends because they tell me what the like or don't like when I design for them. Lindsey and I worked together on this one a lot. We wanted it tweeny and retro looking, girlie but not too girlie. I really liked how it came out and I know Lindsey did too.
